38th European Rotorcraft Forum 2012

38th European Rotorcraft Forum

From Tuesday 4 to Friday 7 September 2012 the European Rotorcraft Forum is held at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel. This forum is one of the premier events in the rotorcraft community’s calendar bringing together manufacturers, research centres, academia, operators and regulatory agencies to discuss advances in research, development, design, manufacturing, testing and operation of rotorcraft- both manned and unmanned.

During the forum, prominent key note speakers (Commander Defence Helicopter Command, CEOs of Fokker Technologies, Eurocopter Deutschland and NLR) will address important rotorcraft themes.

NLR has extensive expertise in the field of helicopters, unmanned helicopters and tilt rotors. This involves helicopter development, operational aspects, regulations and helicopter safety. During the forum various speakers from NLR will give a presentation about helicopter safety, noise, simulation techniques and other helicopter developments.

The 38th European Rotorcraft Forum is organized by the Netherlands Association of Aeronautical Engineers (NVvL), one of the members of the Council of European Aeronautical Societies CEAS in close cooperation with NLR.
